My Favorite Thanksgiving Recipes You will Want to Make All Year

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching (in like two days), so I wanted to share a few of my favorite recipes with you! My family has been making these recipes for years and they are our absolute favorites. These are recipes that you will want to make on repeat, not just for Thanksgiving.

First up let’s start with a salad! This salad is super easy and delicious! Don’t skip making the pecans candied! They truly make the salad! You might even want to make extra for snacking because they are addictive! Here is a recipe for candied pecans. You can use a brand besides Briana’s for the poppy seed dressing, but I highly recommend sticking with Briana’s.

Next, is my grandma’s stuffing recipe. There are so many different variations of stuffing, but I prefer mine exactly like my grandma’s! Stuffing is something I typically only eat on Thanksgiving, so always look forward to it.

Sweet potato casserole is hands down my favorite Thanksgiving dish! This is the dish I am usually in charge of bringing. I loved when my grandma would top it with toasted marshmallows, so I added them to this recipe. On any other day this would easily be considered a dessert, but for Thanksgiving day it is perfect. This recipe can easily be prepped the night before, just wait to add the topping until the next day.

Dessert is an absolute must as far as I’m concerned. French silk pie, or “chocolate pie” as my kids call it is so delicious. I usually make this a few times throughout the year. If you love chocolate I promise you will love this! This recipe is my mother in law’s and it might just be my favorite pie.

Even if you don’t make these recipes on Thanksgiving come back and try them when you are craving some comfort food or dessert! If you try one of these recipes be sure to share on Instagram stories and tag me @fashioninthefields!
